2. Massive destruction from the much closer Inglewood-Newport Fault.
1 in 5 of us may need First Aid. Can you stop rapid arterial bleeding?
1 in 50 of us may need Lifesaving Intervention. Do you know BLS?
1 in 100 of us may need treatment for Medical Shock. Can you spot it?
1 in 75 homes may become unsafe to live in. Do you know how to tell?
The above problems must be addressed in minutes!
The Fire Department will not be available!
You may be the only one available to save your family or coworkers!
Do you know BLS, RB & CPR, and how to survive the Aftermath!
Planning and Land Use Committee (PLUM) - Motion on Development at 3577 Overland
Dear Westside Village Residents,
The PLANNING AND LAND USE COMMITTEE (PLUM) of the MVCC will be moving a Motion of either Support or Opposition to the development at 3577 Overland Avenue (Oakmont Development) to the full Mar Vista Community Council board of directors at their September 10, 2019 meeting. The meeting is at 7:00 p.m. at the Mar Vista Recreation Center located on Woodbine Avenue, at the Mar Vista Park. We encourage all concerned residents near this development to appear and encourage Opposition (or support) of this development during the Public Comment period at the beginning of the meeting.
The full board needs to hear your concerns and whether or not you wish to have this 7 story development on Overland in your backyard. Please be advised: the developer has refused our request to make ANY CHANGES to the development - we asked them to step back the mass in the back of the building that backs up to our neighborhood. They have refused. They are asking for a variance to not have to do this and we believe that is not in the best interests of our neighborhood.
Your involvement is necessary if you wish to have any say about this development, and future developments that are being planned for our side of Overland Avenue.
Sincerely,
Stacy Shure
Westside Village Homeowners Association
