Construction Stage 3: May 2019-January 2020
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is continuing construction on the installation of an emergency connection to the Metropolitan Water District (MWD) of Southern California’s water supply.

Construction Information
Construction began in mid-September 2018 and is scheduled to be completed by late 2020. To reduce the impact to the community, construction of the project is divided into multiple stages.
The first two stages near the MWD facility on Sepulveda Blvd. have been completed.
Traffic impacts during Stage 3 include:
Traffic lanes will be restriped on Sepulveda Blvd and parking will be restricted during construction. Temporary No Parking/Tow-Away signs will be posted as needed.
Northbound Sepulveda Blvd: Reduced to one lane from 9am to 3pm. Two lanes will be open at all other times.
Eastbound Venice Blvd: Reduced to one lane from 9 am to 3 pm. Three lanes will be open at all other times.
No right turn from Venice Blvd onto Bentley Ave.
